While food and exercise are important aspects of optimal health, if you have negative beliefs around the role of these things in your life, you may be in a place of doing more harm than good.
Negative beliefs and limiting behaviors around food and exercise generally stem from a deeper psychological concern, and through my 1-1 consultations as a Dietitian, Intuitive Eating Counsellor and Acceptance and Commitment Therapist, I’ll help you to transform the way you think about yourself and the quality of your health.

FACE TO FACE OR ONLINE CONSULTATIONS AVAILABLEAmy’s consultations can take place face-to-face in her office in South Yarra, Melbourne, or via phone or video conference if you live further away. Simply indicate which option you prefer when booking your consultation time.
HEALTH CARE REBATE If you have Private Health or a referral from your doctor you may be eligible for a rebate. Please pay in full and use the invoice sent upon purchase to receive your rebate via your health fund or Medicare.
HOW AMY'S CONSULTATIONS WORK
Amy begin by looking in to your medical and diet history, while uncovering the core of your relationship with food and exercise. Understanding your body image concerns plays a vital role in taking back power over your health and feeling liberated.
You’ll be supported and guided to take back control and make health-enhancing changes, that facilitate you to:
- eat intuitively again
- be rid of guilt and the need to ‘work off your food’
- restore your hormonal balance, period and fertility
What you can not expect from me is:
- to be weighed
- given a generic or restrictive meal plan, as everyone’s healthy weight and body shape is unique
Amy will ask you lots of questions about your personal story, your relationship with food, exercise and your body, and I listen to and value your experience. Once we’ve established a clear picture of where you are at, we can then make a plan to work towards nourishing your body and feeling relaxed, comfortable, positive and proud of your health once again.
Expect to walk out the door more wise, confident and in charge of your health and wellbeing, with a deeper understanding of how to care for yourself.
Amy ‘s consultations are not a one-size-fits-all offer and will look different for each person I work with, and at the conclusion of our sessions, I’ll send a summary of our session including your goals and action plan to put into practice.
