Medical and lifespan nutrition
LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST WITH EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF YOUR DIET RELATED HEALTH CONDITION
Food plays a significant role in improving and maintaining health but also equally importantly, so does our relationship with it.
Most often, healthy eating is most easily achieved when we bring things back to basics, reconnect
with our body and trust our own wisdom.
But when managing the complexity of a chronic illness or disease, intolerance / allergies, or when entering a new life stage such as pregnancy, greater support and knowledge can often provide the valuable reassurance that you are looking after yourself in the best way possible.

HOW AMY'S CONSULTATIONS WORK
Amy begins by understanding the important details of your condition, together with your:
- day-to-day lifestyle and eating habits
- external influences, such as work pressures
- past and current medical history
- dietary restrictions such as vegetarianism/veganism, intolerances or allergies, and
- cooking skills and accessibility.
You’ll be supported with the knowledge and tools to make health-enhancing changes, that facilitate you to:
- eat in a way that is satisfying, yet supportive of your condition
- nurture yourself and your baby if pregnant or breastfeeding, or
- optimise the quality of your life through nourishing your body and mind with food.
Once a complete picture of your current health is established, Amy then works with you to create a plan that moves you towards ensuring you are meeting your energy intake and nutritional needs, while allowing you to enjoy food freely and make the most of the lifestage you are currently in.
Expect to walk out the door with more confidence about how you look after yourself through food, and a range of practical tools (such as recipes) you can draw on to manage and improve the overall quality of your health.
Amy’s consultations are not a one-size-fits-all approach and will look different for each person. At the conclusion of your sessions, Amy will send a summary of your goals and the action plan created for you to put into practice.
